  1. *Is alcohol training via this website valid through the TIPS Program? Yes, this site is an authorized re-seller of the TIPS program. All In-Class Training takes place with a Certified TIPS instructor and any Online Training takes place through the official TIPS website.


  1. *When will I receive my certification card? In-Class participants will receive their card in about 3 weeks from participating & passing the in-class course. eTIPS participants will receive confirmation of passing immediately upon completion of the online class and will receive their card via mail in 3-5 business days.


  1. *I need proof of training as soon as possible. How can I get this? There are a few options.  The instructor can write you a letter verifying your participation and it will be up to you show your certification card when you receive it after the normal 3 week processing time. There is also a rush-processing option to receive your card in 3 to 4 days for a $150 charge.


  1. *How long is my certification valid? All TIPS certifications are valid for 3 years.


  1. *Is Online Certification the same as In-Class Certification? Yes, online and in-class training offer the same certification. Online courses are available for ON & OFF Premise and Gaming classes only. However, eTIPS is not valid in all states. Please follow instructions via the eTIPS training options to determine validity in your area. Or, check state validity for online TIPS training here. eTIPS is NOT currently accepted in COLORADO for any required training NOR for In-Store Tastings at Liquor Stores.  eTIPS does not qualify for the Colorado Responsible Vendor Program (RVP). You must take an In-Class session unless you are choosing to do the training voluntarily.
